I want to thank all of you who have jumped on board this adventure with me here at Abandoned Recipes as followers, fans, graphic designers, editors and taste testers. I’ve very much enjoyed sharing my foodie adventures in cooking, eating and living. Hopefully, you’ve enjoyed it as well. I’ve already learned a lot in the three months I’ve been blogging and I know I have a ways to go before this project is fully baked.
I am very excited about what 2015 has to hold and I wanted to share with you a few of the things I am working on to make it even tastier:
- Food Photography. The phone camera just isn’t cutting it. Though much like knives, sometimes it is more about user error than it is the tools. Luckily, I have a fancy camera that I am fairly familiar with; I just need to apply those skills to my finished plates and do a little research. And maybe also clean my kitchen.
- Improved posting schedule and content. It takes me a little while to get posts up. Gotta get better. I want to include more things that are going on outside of my attempts to cook like festivals, tastings and engage with my local community. Sometimes I just forget to blog about it.
- Finish my culinary program! I’m woefully behind. No more excuses.
